Create Custom Connector Power Automate

  1. Sign in to the Power Platform Admin Center (https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com) with appropriate admin credentials.

  2. Go to the "Environments" section and select the environment where you want to create the custom connector.

  3. Under the selected environment, click on "Connectors" in the left navigation menu.

  4. Click on the "+ Create custom connector" button to start creating a new custom connector.

  5. Provide a suitable name for the custom connector and optionally provide a description and icon for the connector.

  6. Configure the general properties of the custom connector, such as the base URL and authentication type. You can choose from various authentication options like API Key, OAuth 2.0, or no authentication.

  7. Define the actions and triggers for the custom connector. Actions represent the operations that can be performed using the connector, while triggers define the events that can initiate a flow.

  8. For each action or trigger, specify the details like the HTTP method (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.), URL, request/response schemas, and any required headers or parameters.

  9. Configure the authentication settings for the custom connector if applicable. This may include providing API keys, client ID and secret for OAuth 2.0, or configuring other authentication mechanisms.

  10. Save and validate the custom connector configuration. Make sure to address any validation errors or warnings.

  11. Once the custom connector is created and validated, you can start using it in your Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), or other applications within the same environment.

Note that the specific steps and options may vary slightly depending on the version of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform environment you are using. Make sure to refer to the official Microsoft documentation or consult the Power Platform Admin Center for the most up-to-date instructions and guidance on creating custom connectors.
